Changing the plates on your cutter will convert a short blade cutter to a long blade cutter and vice-versa. If you wish to use the new #11 or #12 blades on your short-blade cutter, you will need a set of the long plates.

For buyers of Bee Line cutters (other than the original Townsend Cutters), you should have received both sets of plates with your cutter.

The blades are very easy to change and no tools other than the hex-wrench included with your cutter tool kit is required. If you have misplaced your hex wrench, a replacement is available on this website.
